Training at 4realfreestyle kickboxing academy involves every aspect of creating a great all round fighter.

Cardio & Strength

You will train hard in cardio and strength excecises. This involves running, squats, push ups, sit ups and a variety of other exercises to get your heart racing.

Flexibility

Flexibility is a major part of the martial arts and as a result, each training session involves exercises to increase your flexibility. This is also achieved by stretching.

Technique

The aim is to make the technique a natural reaction, this can only be achieved through reptition. Each technique is practiced and perfected using a variety of methods such as focus pads, a strike shield or through shadow sparring to name a few. We teach punches, kicks, blocks, grappling, strikes, timing, distance and evasion from a wide range of martial arts as well as western boxing.

We do not have the constraints of other traditional martial arts which are bound by strict rules and etiquette. If it is proven to be effective - we will teach it - you can apply it.

All ages and abilities are welcome. The club has a friendly atmosphere and is a great way to get fit and stay healthy. Most new members notice an increase in their confidence and self belief aswell as increased flexibility, strength and stamina after attending our training sessions.
