Freestyle Kickboxing is a western system that includes the blocks from Karate, the kicks from Tae Kwon Do, Karate and Muay Thai. Boxing is the foundation of this Martial Art.

4 Real Kickboxing Academy has a structured syllabus which is applied during all training sessions.
To progress through this syllabus you will be given the oppurtunity to grade and achieve belts.
Gradings normally happen three or four times per year and belts are achieved in the following order:

White - Yellow - Orange - Green - Blue - Purple - Brown - Black

There must be a gap of 12 months between your brown and black belts.

Freestyle kickboxing is all about Fitness, Conditioning, Strength, Application Of Technique, Speed & Power.

Each Student will go through the basic syllabus until they reach suitable level.
Once that level is achieved, they will then be taught how to apply these techniques in a real situation.

First and foremost you will be taught threat detection and avoidance. After that they will be taught direct and effective techniques which should only be used against an agressor.

We are associated with the British Combat Association and WUMA (World United Martial Arts).

Violence is the last resort and we teach you how to defend yourself, not to inflict harm unnecessarily.
